The stay: You will be staying in a historical residence where many artists and intellectuals of significance stayed during the Grand Tour. Considered a training ground for renowned literary thinkers, they followed in the footsteps of Nietzsche, Byron and Stendhal. During your stay, you will be able to touch, taste, imagine and even smell the history emanating from the walls of this historic residence. All will combine to allow you to live and feel like an artist.
The Learn: You will learn how to use your hands and appreciate the importance of skill and time. When creating an object from scratch – using the raw materials, your hands and creativity – you will understand that quality can only be obtained with time and attention to detail. Satisfaction will be gained by valuing the quality of the object produced.
The Inlay workshop will take place in an ancient laboratory with professional artisans who will teach you the “Sorrentino ” inlay techniques.
