The experience consists of one or two days where apprentices will learn the fascinating techniques of glass blowing in a Murano Glass Factory. We have created an itinerary that demystifies Murano glass making techniques, allowing you to admire the workmanship and concentration required to create a work of art. You will discover works ranging from antiquity to those of today, while visiting the tiny islands of Burano, Murano, and Torcello.
With a centuries-long history, glass blowing isn’t exclusive to Venice, it is also found in Umbria, where we have created workshops dedicated to the technique specific to the region. Guided by glass masters, participants will be introduced to the ancient history of glass before entering the factories and putting their newfound skills into practice.
