The experience takes place in a workshop in Venice, where participants will learn the history and techniques of Venetian mask making. Guided by expert craftsmen, you will observe the workmanship that goes into this ancient art form before creating and decorating your own unique piece.
Participants can choose to observe mask making and decorating techniques or gain in-depth knowledge with a hands-on experience extending from three to five days, allowing you to create and decorate your own authentic Venetian mask with the help of a master artisan. Upon request, we can create a range of itineraries that will take you through the streets of Venice where you will discover the history of the ancient Mascherari.
