This course introduces you to natural perfumery as both an art form and a sensory practice.
Through a progressive, hands-on approach, you will learn how to recognize, combine, and balance different fragrance families — developing an intuitive and technical understanding of scent composition.
Each level builds on the previous one, guiding you from fresh and vibrant notes to more complex and structured compositions, while allowing space for personal exploration and creativity.

For centuries, natural essences have been used to evoke memory, identity, and atmosphere. Unlike synthetic perfumery, working with botanical materials requires sensitivity, patience, and a deep understanding of raw ingredients.

Course modules & skills
A 3-Level Olfactory Journey. Each module is structured over 5 days (3 hours per day), combining theory, sensory training, and hands-on creation.Each level combines guided exercises with personal experimentation, allowing you to create your own perfumes using natural ingredients.
M1 — Citrus Notes: Freshness & Energy
- Introduction to natural perfumery and raw materials
- Identification of citrus essences (bergamot, lemon, grapefruit)
- Understanding extraction methods and blending basics
- Creating light, vibrant fragrance compositions
M2 — Floral Notes: Balance & Harmony
- Exploring floral essences (rose, jasmine, neroli, lavender)
- Building accords and refining olfactory perception
- Developing harmony and complexity in blends
- Creating elegant and expressive floral compositions
M3 — Woody Notes: Depth & Structure
- Working with woods and resins (sandalwood, cedarwood, vetiver, patchouli)
- Understanding fixatives and longevity
- Layering techniques and composition structure
- Creating deep, long-lasting signature scents
