The art behind the technique
Glassmaking in Venice dates back to the Roman era and reached its peak on the island of Murano during the Renaissance.
From the 15th century onwards, Murano became a center of innovation, where master artisans developed techniques that defined the identity of Venetian glass worldwide.
Over time, new materials and processes enriched this tradition — from decorative techniques such as millefiori to refined surface treatments and artistic experimentation.
Today, Murano glass remains a symbol of excellence, where heritage and innovation continue to coexist.
