Eco Art Course in Milazzo
Where sustainability becomes artistic expression
A course where contemporary art meets environmental consciousness — transforming everyday materials into meaningful creations.
Guided by a multidisciplinary artist, you will explore innovative techniques that reimagine waste as a creative resource, developing your own artistic language through sustainable practice.
The course
Contemporary Art Through Sustainable Practice.
This course introduces you to eco art as both a creative discipline and a mindset.
Through a series of hands-on workshops, you will explore how discarded and everyday materials can be transformed into artworks — combining traditional techniques with experimental, contemporary approaches.
From plastic to paper, from printmaking to sculpture, each process invites you to rethink materials, value imperfection, and embrace a more conscious way of creating.
The art behind the technique
Eco art emerges from the intersection of artistic expression and environmental awareness.
In response to mass production and waste culture, artists began to explore new ways of working — using recycled, natural, and found materials to question consumption and redefine beauty.
This practice is not only about sustainability, but about perception: seeing potential where others see waste.
The course is guided by Emanuela Ravidà, a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the relationship between art, ecology, and community. Through her research, she has developed innovative techniques such as Ironed Plastic, transforming discarded materials into expressive, contemporary artworks.
Her work has been exhibited internationally, contributing to a growing movement where art becomes both a creative and cultural response to environmental challenges
