Cosmetics Formulation course in Florence

Where plants become care, and knowledge becomes creation

An immersive course exploring the craft of natural cosmetics — from cultivation to formulation, from raw plant to finished product.

Rooted in herbal tradition and reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, this experience guides you through the full lifecycle of botanical ingredients, transforming them into skincare, aromatic rituals, and personal creations.

The course

From Cultivation to Formulation.

This course is a complete journey into plant-based creation.

You will begin with the origins — understanding plants, their properties, and how they are cultivated and harvested — before moving into extraction, formulation, and sensory design.

Through hands-on experimentation, you will learn how to transform raw botanical materials into oils, balms, infusions, and aromatic compositions.

The process culminates in the creation of your own botanical concept and capsule collection, where technique meets personal expression.

The art behind the technique

Natural cosmetics is not simply formulation — it is a way of thinking.

It connects agriculture, chemistry, tradition, and sensory perception into a single creative act.

Working with plants means understanding time, transformation, and balance. Each ingredient carries a function, but also a story — of origin, environment, and use.

Through this discipline, making becomes a form of design:
not only of products, but of experiences, rituals, and identity.
