Overview
The Milazzo Family Retreat is designed for families who wish to create, learn, and bond through meaningful shared experiences — far beyond conventional tourism.
Set in Sicily, this retreat invites parents and children into a week of creativity, cultural exchange, and slow living. Each day becomes an opportunity to explore imagination, craftsmanship, language, and connection — with space for both collective discovery and personal time.
At the heart of the retreat is a simple yet powerful idea: children and parents grow differently, but beautifully, when immersed in creativity.
Venue – Feudo San Pietro | Creative Italy School
Your home during the retreat is the Creative Italy School at Feudo San Pietro.
Feudo San Pietro is an ancient Sicilian hamlet steeped in history, centered around a peaceful garden. Today, it has been reimagined as a living artisan laboratory, where tradition, creativity, and the spirit of the place continue to evolve.
Destination: Milazzo (Sicily)
Set on Sicily’s northern coast, Milazzo is a historic seaside town where layers of history meet the gentle rhythm of Mediterranean life. Dominated by its ancient castle and shaped by centuries of cultural influences, the town carries a quiet sense of depth and authenticity. At the same time, its relaxed pace, beautiful beaches, and open sea views create an atmosphere of ease and natural inspiration.
Milazzo offers a rare balance between cultural richness and coastal beauty, forming the perfect backdrop for a retreat grounded in creativity, family connection, and sensory exploration.

Morning
The final morning is dedicated to the Theatre Rehearsal, a gentle and focused moment in which children refine the scenes, transitions, and expressive elements developed throughout the week. It is a time to revisit games, polish movements, and complete the creative details that bring their shared story to life.
Afternoon & Evening
Theatre – Time to Act!
In a joyful and relaxed atmosphere, children present their creative journey through scenes, theatrical play, and moments of imagination. This is not a performance seeking perfection, but a celebration of confidence, collaboration, and creativity.
After the showcase, families gather for a warm closing moment with snacks and conversation, sharing reflections, smiles, and the memories created together during the retreat.
Personalized Experience
Mornings unfold in two parallel journeys designed to honor both shared discovery and personal space.
For children, the day begins with a bilingual Theatre & Creative Expression Laboratory conducted in Italian and English. Here, international and local children work side-by-side in an atmosphere shaped by play, movement, voice, and imagination. Language learning emerges naturally through rehearsal, storytelling, and creative interaction, allowing children to build confidence, friendships, and expressive freedom.
For parents, mornings offer the opportunity to follow an individual rhythm. Some may choose to participate in artisan workshops such as bobbin lace, perfume creation, or other creative practices rooted in tradition and craftsmanship. Others may prefer to relax and recharge, enjoying the peaceful environment or embracing moments of stillness by the sea.
This gentle structure allows every family member to nurture individuality while remaining connected within a collective, meaningful experience.
