Team Building can also be a useful tool for addressing challenges, breaking through situations of stagnation and gaining a deeper understanding of organisational dynamics, helping to bring new perspectives and solutions to light. We will also explore the role of creativity as a tool for collaboration, the value of hands-on experience and learning by doing, and the importance of tailored design in relation to groups, contexts and objectives.<\/p>\n

Understanding what Team Building is also means distinguishing it from a range of activities with which it is often confused. The first misconception concerns entertainment. A dinner, tasting, visit, excursion, game or recreational activity can be an enjoyable opportunity to spend time together and encourage social interaction, but the simple fact that a group shares an experience does not necessarily mean that Team Building is taking place. Enjoyment can certainly be part of the experience, but it is not its sole purpose.<\/p>\n
Similarly, Team Building should not be considered a filler activity to be placed in the free time during a convention, meeting or corporate trip. If a few hours are available and something is chosen simply to fill that time, it can certainly create an enjoyable moment, but there is no real planning around the needs and dynamics of the group.
