Creative Italy has selected local embroiderers who actively continue the magnificent tradition of decorating churches and wedding sets.
Taking take place in serene gardens, historic houses and charming farmhouses, which provide the perfect retreat for your embroidery holiday, you will also discover the history of the region.
It may extend over one or more days, depending on how many techniques you would like to learn. Embroidering amounts to more than just a moment of learning: it is an experience that promotes cultural exchange, placing the traveller up close and personal with local artisans, where language is not a barrier but an added stimulus to learn this tradition.
The experience is accompanied by a lunch with local artists, allowing an exchange of ideas and curiosities about the region.
